AB861-AA1,1,1 At the locations indicated, amend the bill as follows:

AB861-AA1,1,5 1. Page 3, line 9: delete lines 9 and 10 and substitute: "criminal penalty. An officer who is employed by the department and who is performing duties that are within the scope of his or her employment as a police officer may enforce chs. 346 to 348 and 350 while located anywhere within this state.".

AB861-AA1,1,6 2. Page 4, line 16: after that line insert:

AB861-AA1,1,7 " Section 3m. 175.40 (1) (c) of the statutes is amended to read:

AB861-AA1,1,11 175.40 (1) (c) "Peace officer" has the meaning specified in s. 939.22 (22), but also includes any tribal law enforcement officer who is empowered to act under s. 165.92 (2) (a) and any police officer employed by the department of administration under s. 16.84 (2).".
