ASSEMBLY AMENDMENT 1, To 1995 ASSEMBLY BILL 988

AB988-AA1,1,1 At the locations indicated, amend the bill as follows:

AB988-AA1,1,3 1. Page 1, line 4: after "searches" insert "and inquiries for registry information".

AB988-AA1,1,5 2. Page 4, line 11: delete lines 11 and 12 and substitute: "home or a treatment facility shall, for any individual who may have access to patients or".

AB988-AA1,1,6 3. Page 4, line 15: delete the period and substitute: ", do all of the following:

AB988-AA1,1,8 (a) Request the department of justice to perform a criminal history search on the individual.

AB988-AA1,1,11 (b) Request from the department any information regarding the individual that is contained in the registry under s. 146.40 (4g) and make a determination that the individual has no record of patient or resident abuse.".
