AJR38-AA1,1,11 At the locations indicated, amend the joint resolution as follows:
AJR38-AA1,1,3 21. Page 1, line 3: after "for" insert ", and the restriction on holding any other
3office by,".
AJR38-AA1,1,4 42. Page 2, line 16: after that line insert:
AJR38-AA1,1,5 5" Section 2d. Section 4 (3) of article VI of the constitution is amended to read:
AJR38-AA1,1,86 [Article VI] Section 4 (3) Sheriffs shall hold no other office. Sheriffs may be
7required by law to renew their security from time to time, and in default of giving
8such new security their office shall be deemed vacant.
AJR38-AA1, s. 2p 9Section 2p. Section 4 (6) of article VI of the constitution is created to read:
AJR38-AA1,1,1210 [Article VI] Section 4 (6) Sheriffs, coroners, registers of deeds, district
11attorneys, clerks, treasurers and surveyors may not hold any other office of public
12trust during the term for which elected or appointed.".
AJR38-AA1,1,13 133. Page 3, line 6: after that line insert:
