ASSEMBLY AMENDMENT 14, To ASSEMBLY SUBSTITUTE AMENDMENT 1, To ASSEMBLY BILL 1

AB1-ASA1-AA14,1,1 At the locations indicated, amend the substitute amendment as follows:

AB1-ASA1-AA14,1,2 1. Page 27, line 11: after "facilities" insert "and subject to s. 229.682 (3)".

AB1-ASA1-AA14,1,3 2. Page 30, line 9: after that line insert:

AB1-ASA1-AA14,1,10 "(3) Ownership provisions. A district may not enter into a partnership, joint venture, common ownership, lease, contract or other arrangement with a professional baseball team franchise unless the team franchise first agrees to take such actions as are determined to be necessary by the secretary of administration to allow a consortium of Wisconsin residents or corporations the right of first refusal to purchase the team franchise at fair market value before any of the following occurs:

AB1-ASA1-AA14,1,11 (a) The team franchise may be sold to out-of-state interests.

AB1-ASA1-AA14,1,13 (b) The team franchise may move to a home stadium that is located outside this state.

AB1-ASA1-AA14,1,14 (c) The team franchise may declare bankruptcy.".
