SENATE AMENDMENT 20, To ASSEMBLY BILL 1

AB1-SA20,1,1 At the locations indicated, amend the engrossed bill as follows:

AB1-SA20,1,2 1. Page 31, line 7: delete "In" and substitute "Subject to s. 229.682 (7), in".

AB1-SA20,1,3 2. Page 34, line 22: after that line insert:

AB1-SA20,1,8 "(7) Infrastructure improvements required. The district board shall not expend any moneys for the construction of baseball park facilities unless each county and city in which the facilities are to be located first enter into a binding agreement with the district requiring the district to expend at least $36,000,000 for infrastructure construction related to the facilities.".

AB1-SA20,1,9 3. Page 47, line 2: after that line insert:

AB1-SA20,1,10 " Section 54m. 234.65 (1) (i) of the statutes is created to read:

AB1-SA20,2,2 234.65 (1) (i) The authority may not make a loan under this section for an economic development project described under s. 234.01 (4n) (d) to any professional athletic team located in a local professional baseball park district created under subch. III of ch. 229 unless each county and city where the project is to be constructed first enter into a binding agreement with the district requiring the district to expend at least $36,000,000 for infrastructure construction related to the project.".
