SENATE AMENDMENT 1, TO ASSEMBLY BILL 3

AB3-SA1,1,1 At the locations indicated, amend the bill as follows:

AB3-SA1,1,2 1. Page 1, line 10: after "act" insert "and making an appropriation".

AB3-SA1,1,3 2. Page 2, line 1: delete that line and substitute:

AB3-SA1,1,5 " Section 1e. 20.005 (3) (schedule) of the statutes: at the appropriate place, insert the following amounts for the purposes indicated: - See PDF for table

AB3-SA1, s. 1m Section 1m. 20.144 (1) (b) of the statutes is created to read:

AB3-SA1,2,3 20.144 (1) (b) Public awareness campaign. Biennially, the amounts in the schedule to conduct the public awareness campaign required under 1997 Wisconsin Act .... (this act), section 44m (1t).

AB3-SA1, s. 1s Section 1s. 421.202 (10) of the statutes is created to read:".

AB3-SA1,2,6 " Section 44m. Nonstatutory provisions.

AB3-SA1,2,13 (1t) Public awareness campaign on elimination of coverage of agricultural transactions under the Wisconsin consumer act. From the appropriation under section 20.144 (1) (b) of the statutes, as created by this act, the department of financial institutions shall conduct a public awareness campaign to inform agricultural populations in the state of the changes made by this act. The department of financial institutions shall complete the public awareness campaign under this subsection no later than June 30, 1999.".
