ASSEMBLY AMENDMENT 9, TO SENATE BILL 2

SB2-AA9,1,2 At the locations indicated, amend the bill, as shown by senate substitute amendment 2, as follows:

SB2-AA9,1,4 1. Page 2, line 10: after "Schools;" insert "aid to Milwaukee Public Schools for the cost of teacher's aides;".

SB2-AA9,1,5 2. Page 2, line 18: before that line insert:

SB2-AA9,1,6 " Section 1m. 20.255 (2) (bd) of the statutes is created to read:

SB2-AA9,1,8 20.255 (2) (bd) Teachers' aides. A sum sufficient for the cost of teachers' aides under s. 119.16 (11).".

SB2-AA9,1,10 3. Page 9, line 8: after that line, after the material inserted by senate amendment 2 to senate substitute amendment 2, insert:

SB2-AA9,1,11 " Section 19s. 119.16 (11) of the statutes is created to read:

SB2-AA9,2,3 119.16 (11) Teachers' aides. The board shall ensure that a teacher's aide is present in every elementary school classroom in which the class size is greater than 22.".
