SENATE AMENDMENT 19, TO SENATE SUBSTITUTE AMENDMENT 2, TO SENATE BILL 2

May 18, 1998 - Offered by Senators Panzer and Burke.

SB2-SSA2-SA19,1,1 At the locations indicated, amend the substitute amendment as follows:

SB2-SSA2-SA19,1,2 1. Page 13, line 2: delete "result." and substitute "result, except as follows:".

SB2-SSA2-SA19,1,3 2. Page 13, line 2: after that line insert:

SB2-SSA2-SA19,1,5 "1. If a member ceases to be a resident of the city that person ceases to be a member.

SB2-SSA2-SA19,1,7 2. If a member under par. (a) 1. to 3. becomes an employe of the board, that person ceases to be a member.

SB2-SSA2-SA19,1,9 3. If the member under par. (a) 4. ceases to be a teacher in the school, that person ceases to be a member.

SB2-SSA2-SA19,1,11 (c) The appropriate appointing authority shall fill any vacancy in the local reform council within 30 days after the vacancy occurs.".
