SENATE AMENDMENT 24, TO SENATE SUBSTITUTE AMENDMENT 2, TO SENATE BILL 2

May 18, 1998 - Offered by Senator Moore.

SB2-SSA2-SA24,1,1 At the locations indicated, amend the substitute amendment as follows:

SB2-SSA2-SA24,1,3 1. Page 2, line 9: after "school;" insert "school nurses in the Milwaukee Public Schools; increasing the revenue limit of the Milwaukee Public Schools;".

SB2-SSA2-SA24,1,4 2. Page 9, line 8: after that line insert:

SB2-SSA2-SA24,1,5 " Section 19m. 119.16 (11) of the statutes is created to read:

SB2-SSA2-SA24,1,7 119.16 (11) School nurses. The board shall ensure that each school in the city has the services of at least a half-time school nurse on staff.".

SB2-SSA2-SA24,1,8 3. Page 14, line 11: after that line insert:

SB2-SSA2-SA24,1,9 " Section 25m. 121.91 (4) (h) of the statutes is created to read:

SB2-SSA2-SA24,2,3 121.91 (4) (h) The limit otherwise applicable to the revenue of the school district operating under ch. 119 is increased by the amount necessary to comply with s. 199.16 (11).".
