SENATE AMENDMENT 5, TO SENATE SUBSTITUTE AMENDMENT 2, TO SENATE BILL 2

SB2-SSA2-SA5,1,1 At the locations indicated, amend the substitute amendment as follows:

SB2-SSA2-SA5,1,3 1. Page 2, line 9: after "school;" insert "the revenue limit of the Milwaukee Public Schools;".

SB2-SSA2-SA5,1,4 2. Page 14, line 11: after that line insert:

SB2-SSA2-SA5,1,5 " Section 25e. 121.90 (1) (a) (intro.) of the statutes is created to read:

SB2-SSA2-SA5,1,7 121.90 (1) (a) (intro.) For every school district other than the school district operating under ch. 119:

SB2-SSA2-SA5, s. 25m Section 25m. 121.90 (1) (a) to (d) of the statutes, as created by 1997 Wisconsin Act 27, are renumbered 121.90 (1) (a) 1. to 4.

SB2-SSA2-SA5, s. 25s Section 25s. 121.90 (1) (bm) of the statutes is created to read:

SB2-SSA2-SA5,1,12 121.90 (1) (bm) For the school district operating under ch. 119, "number of pupils enrolled" includes the summer enrollment.".

SB2-SSA2-SA5,2,1 3. Page 15, line 20: after that line insert:

SB2-SSA2-SA5,2,5 "(3d) Revenue limit. The renumbering of section 121.90 (1) (a) to (d) of the statutes and the creation of section 121.90 (1) (a) (intro.) and (bm) of the statutes first apply to the calculation of a school district's revenue limit for the 1998-99 school year.".
