ASSEMBLY AMENDMENT 2, TO 1997 ASSEMBLY BILL 462

AB462-AA2,1,1 At the locations indicated, amend the bill as follows:

AB462-AA2,1,2 1. Page 5, line 22: delete "sub. (4)" and substitute "subs. (4) and (5)".

AB462-AA2,1,3 2. Page 6, line 3: delete "sub. (4)" and substitute "subs. (4) and (5)".

AB462-AA2,1,4 3. Page 6, line 17: after that line insert:

AB462-AA2,1,10 "(5) This section does not apply to any local governmental unit that has in effect on the effective date of this subsection .... [revisor inserts date], a marital hardship exemption that is similar to the marital hardship exemption that is described in sub. (3), unless that political subdivision, on or after the effective date of this subsection .... [revisor inserts date], repeals its exemption or amends its exemption such that the exemption is not similar to the exemption under sub. (3).".
