AB463-ASA1-AA11,1,4 (1) Audit of effect of act.

AB463-ASA1-AA11,2,2 The joint legislative audit committee is requested to direct the legislative audit bureau to conduct a performance evaluation audit of the effect of this act on the delivery of prenatal and alcohol or other drug abuse services to expectant mothers. The audit shall examine the effect of this act on the number of expectant mothers who are served by alcohol or other drug abuse treatment programs and on the number of expectant mothers seeking prenatal services who are identified as being alcoholic or drug dependent. If the committee directs the legislative audit bureau to perform the audit, the legislative audit bureau shall submit its report as described in section 13.94 (1) (b) of the statutes by the first day of the 24th month beginning after the publication of this act.".
