SENATE AMENDMENT 10, TO 1997 ASSEMBLY BILL 463

AB463-SA10,1,1 At the locations indicated, amend the engrossed bill as follows:

AB463-SA10,1,2 1. Page 4, line 2: before the period insert "and granting bonding authority".

AB463-SA10,1,3 2. Page 10, line 1: delete that line and substitute:

AB463-SA10,1,5 " Section 1d. 20.005 (3) (schedule) of the statutes: at the appropriate place, insert the following amounts for the purposes indicated: - See PDF for table

AB463-SA10, s. 1g Section 1g. 20.435 (2) (c) of the statutes is created to read:

AB463-SA10,2,3 20.435 (2) (c) Alcohol or other drug abuse treatment facility for women. The amounts in the schedule for the general program operations of the alcohol and other drug abuse treatment facility for women in the city of Milwaukee under s. 46.045.

AB463-SA10, s. 1j Section 1j. 20.866 (2) (v) of the statutes is amended to read:

AB463-SA10,2,9 20.866 (2) (v) Health and family services; mental health facilities. From the capital improvement fund, a sum sufficient for the department of health and family services to acquire, construct, develop, enlarge or extend mental health facilities. The state may contract public debt in an amount not to exceed $88,712,500 $103,212,500 for this purpose.

AB463-SA10, s. 1m Section 1m. 20.866 (2) (v) of the statutes, as affected by 1997 Wisconsin Acts 27 and .... (this act), is repealed and recreated to read:

AB463-SA10,2,16 20.866 (2) (v) Health and family services; mental health and secure treatment facilities. From the capital improvement fund, a sum sufficient for the department of health and family services to acquire, construct, develop, enlarge or extend mental health and secure treatment facilities. The state may contract public debt in an amount not to exceed $133,212,500 for this purpose.

AB463-SA10, s. 1r Section 1r. 38.24 (1s) of the statutes is amended to read:".

AB463-SA10,2,19 " Section 3p. 46.045 of the statutes is created to read:

AB463-SA10,2,22 46.045 Alcohol and other drug abuse treatment facility for women. The department shall establish and operate an alcohol and other drug abuse treatment facility for women, consisting of not less than 250 beds, in the city of Milwaukee.".
