ASSEMBLY AMENDMENT 1, TO 1997 ASSEMBLY BILL 60

AB60-AA1,1,1 At the locations indicated, amend the bill as follows:

AB60-AA1,1,2 1. Page 1, line 3: after "fund" insert ", court fees".

AB60-AA1,1,3 2. Page 2, line 6: after that line insert:

AB60-AA1,1,4 " Section 1g. 814.61 (1) (a) of the statutes is amended to read:

AB60-AA1,1,10 814.61 (1) (a) Except as provided under pars. (c) and (d), at the commencement of all civil actions and special proceedings not specified in ss. 814.62 to 814.66, $75 $76. Of the fees received by the clerk under this paragraph, the county treasurer shall pay $45 $46 to the state treasurer for deposit in the general fund and shall retain the balance for the use of the county. The state treasurer shall credit $15 of the $45 $46 to the appropriation under s. 20.680 (2) (j).

AB60-AA1, s. 1m Section 1m. Initial applicability.

AB60-AA1,2,2 (1) The treatment of section 814.61 (1) (a) of the statutes first applies to actions or special proceedings commenced on the effective date of this subsection.".
