ASSEMBLY AMENDMENT 1, TO 1997 ASSEMBLY BILL 735

AB735-AA1,1,1 At the locations indicated, amend the bill as follows:

AB735-AA1,1,2 1. Page 1, line 5: after "Wisconsin" insert ", veterans health care aid grants".

AB735-AA1,1,3 2. Page 3, line 15: after that line insert:

AB735-AA1,1,4 " Section 5m. Nonstatutory provisions.

AB735-AA1,1,7 (1) The department of veterans affairs may provide a health care aid grant under section 45.351 (1j) of the statutes to any person who meets all of the following conditions:

AB735-AA1,1,10 (a) The person would have been eligible for a grant under section 45.351 (1j) of the statutes during the period from July 1, 1997, to October 13, 1997, if that section of the statutes had been in effect during that period.

AB735-AA1,1,12 (b) The person submits an application to the department of veterans affairs within 60 days after the effective date of this paragraph.".
