AB866-AA2,1,11 At the locations indicated, amend the bill as follows:
AB866-AA2,1,2 21. Page 2, line 9: after that line insert:
AB866-AA2,1,5 3"(d) "Significantly exposed" means sustaining a contact which carries a
4potential for transmission of a sexually transmitted disease or HIV by one or more
5of the following:
AB866-AA2,1,86 1. Transmission, into a body orifice or onto mucous membrane, of blood; semen;
7vaginal secretions; cerebrospinal, synovial, pleural, peritoneal, pericardial or
8amniotic fluid; or other body fluid that is visibly contaminated with blood.
AB866-AA2,1,129 2. Exchange, during the accidental or intentional infliction of a penetrating
10wound, including a needle puncture, of blood; semen; vaginal secretions;
11cerebrospinal, synovial, pleural, peritoneal, pericardial or amniotic fluid; or other
12body fluid that is visibly contaminated with blood.

13. Exchange, into an eye, an open wound, an oozing lesion, or other place where
2a significant breakdown in the epidermal barrier has occurred, of blood; semen;
3vaginal secretions; cerebrospinal, synovial, pleural, peritoneal, pericardial or
4amniotic fluid; or other body fluid that is visibly contaminated with blood.".
AB866-AA2,2,6 52. Page 2, line 11: delete lines 11 to 14 and substitute "increased by not more
6than 5 years if all of the following apply:
AB866-AA2,2,9 7"(a) At the time that he or she commits the serious sex crime, the person
8convicted of committing the serious sex crime has a sexually transmitted disease or
9acquired".
AB866-AA2,2,12 103. Page 2, line 17: delete "The person" and substitute "At the time that he or
11she commits the serious sex crime, the person convicted of committing the serious
12sex crime".
AB866-AA2,2,13 134. Page 2, line 19: after that line insert:
AB866-AA2,2,16 14"(c) The victim of the serious sex crime was significantly exposed to HIV or to
15the sexually transmitted disease, whichever is applicable, by the acts constituting
16the serious sex crime.".
