SB130-SA3,1,11 At the locations indicated, amend the bill as follows:
SB130-SA3,1,2 21. Page 1, line 3: before that line insert:
SB130-SA3,1,3 3" Section 1. 95.21 (1) (a), (ag) and (dm) of the statutes are created to read:
SB130-SA3,1,44 95.21 (1) (a) "Camelid" means a llama, alpacca, guanaco or vicuna.
SB130-SA3,1,65 (ag) "Equine" means a horse, donkey, ass or zebra or any hybrid combination
6of horse, ass, donkey or zebra.
SB130-SA3,1,77 (dm) "Ratite" means an ostrich, emu or rhea.".
SB130-SA3,1,8 82. Page 1, line 3: delete "Section 1" and substitute "Section 1m".
SB130-SA3,1,9 93. Page 2, line 9: delete lines 9 to 11 and substitute:
SB130-SA3,1,12 10"95.21 (9m) Sale of rabies vaccine. No person may sell or otherwise supply
11rabies vaccine for administration by the purchaser unless one of the following
12applies:
SB130-SA3,1,1313 (a) The purchaser is a veterinarian.

1(b) The purchaser provides to the person supplying the vaccine a letter signed
2by a veterinarian stating that the purchaser is competent to properly administer the
3vaccine to equines, camelids or ratites.
SB130-SA3, s. 3m 4Section 3m. 895.484 of the statutes is created to read:
SB130-SA3,2,10 5895.484 Civil liability exemption; veterinarian certification of
6competence to administer rabies vaccine.
A veterinarian, as defined in s.
7453.02 (7), is immune from civil liability for acts or omissions related to his or her
8certification under s. 95.21 (9m) that a person is competent to administer rabies
9vaccine if the death or illness of any person or animal occurs because of the improper
10administration of rabies vaccine by the person so certified.".
