SENATE AMENDMENT 2, TO 1997 SENATE BILL 23

SB23-SA2,1,1 At the locations indicated, amend the bill as follows:

SB23-SA2,1,2 1. Page 1, line 6: delete "an appropriation" and substitute "appropriations".

SB23-SA2,1,3 2. Page 2, line 1: delete " Section 1" and substitute:

SB23-SA2,1,4 " Section 1g. 20.395 (5) (cj) of the statutes is created to read:

SB23-SA2,1,7 20.395 (5) (cj) Licensing fees, state funds. From the general fund, all moneys received under s. 341.14 (6r) (b) 6. a. for the purpose of making payments of licensing fees under s. 341.14 (6r) (h).

SB23-SA2,1,9 3. Page 2, line 3: after "6." insert "b.".

SB23-SA2,1,11 4. Page 2, line 6: delete "appropriation under s." and substitute "appropriations under ss. 20.395 (5) (cj) and".

SB23-SA2,2,2 5. Page 4, line 17: delete the material beginning with "All" and ending with "(jp)." on line 21.

SB23-SA2,2,6 6. Page 4, line 22: after "71." insert: "All moneys received under this subdivision in excess of the initial costs of data processing for the special group plate under par. (f) 53. or $35,000, whichever is less, shall be deposited in the general fund and credited as follows:

SB23-SA2,2,8 a. An amount equal to the costs of licensing fees under par. (h) shall be credited to the appropriation account under s. 20.395 (5) (cj).

SB23-SA2,2,10 b. The remainder shall be credited to the appropriation account under s. 20.455 (2) (jp).".

SB23-SA2,2,12 7. Page 8, line 12: delete "moneys received under par. (b) 6." and substitute: "the appropriation under s. 20.395 (5) (cj)".
