SB264-SSA1-SA1,1,11 At the locations indicated, amend the substitute amendment as follows:
SB264-SSA1-SA1,1,5 21. Page 3, line 23: after "degree" insert ", a grant for community programs to
3a nonprofit corporation that has over 30 years of experience in providing residential
4alcohol or other drug abuse treatment to pregnant women in the city of Milwaukee
5and making an appropriation".
SB264-SSA1-SA1,1,6 62. Page 6, line 2: after that line insert:
SB264-SSA1-SA1,1,7 7" Section 5m. 46.48 (5) of the statutes is renumbered 46.48 (5) (a).
SB264-SSA1-SA1, s. 5p 8Section 5p. 46.48 (5) (b) of the statutes is created to read:
SB264-SSA1-SA1,2,29 46.48 (5) (b) The department shall distribute $305,000 in each fiscal year,
10beginning in fiscal year 1998-99, as a grant to a nonprofit corporation that has over
1130 years of experience in providing residential alcohol or other drug abuse treatment

1to pregnant women in the city of Milwaukee, to provide residential alcohol or other
2drug abuse treatment to pregnant women.".

SB264-SSA1-SA1,2,12 5(1t) Grant for alcohol or other drug abuse treatment program. In the
6schedule under section 20.005 (3) of the statutes for the appropriation to the
7department of health and family services under section 20.435 (7) (bc) of the statutes,
8as affected by the acts of 1997, the dollar amount is increased by $305,000 for fiscal
9year 1998-99 to increase funding for a grant for community programs to a nonprofit
10corporation that has over 30 years of experience in providing residential alcohol or
11other drug abuse treatment to pregnant women in the city of Milwaukee, to provide
12residential alcohol or other drug abuse treatment to pregnant women.".
