ASSEMBLY SUBSTITUTE AMENDMENT 1, TO 1997 SENATE BILL 460

SB460-ASA1,1,2 An Act to amend 29.092 (3) (g) and 29.145 (1c) (c) of the statutes; relating to: fishing licenses issued to disabled residents.

The people of the state of Wisconsin, represented in senate and assembly, do enact as follows:

SB460-ASA1, s. 1 Section 1. 29.092 (3) (g) of the statutes, as created by 1997 Wisconsin Act 1, is amended to read:

SB460-ASA1,1,6 29.092 (3) (g) Resident disabled veteran. The There is no fee for an annual fishing license issued to a resident disabled veteran under s. 29.145 (1c) (c) is $4.25.

SB460-ASA1, s. 2 Section 2. 29.145 (1c) (c) of the statutes is amended to read:

SB460-ASA1,1,11 29.145 (1c) (c) Produces evidence that shows that he or she is a veteran, as defined in 38 USC 101, and is receiving disability compensation benefits under 38 USC 301 to 363 1101 to 1163 for a reduction in earning capacity disability that is rated greater than 70% or greater under 38 USC 355 1114.

SB460-ASA1, s. 3 Section 3. Initial applicability.

SB460-ASA1,2,2 (1) This act first applies to fishing licenses issued to disabled residents on the effective date of this subsection.
