SENATE AMENDMENT 11, TO SENATE SUBSTITUTE AMENDMENT 1, TO 1997 SENATE BILL 7

SB7-SSA1-SA11,1,1 At the locations indicated, amend the substitute amendment as follows:

SB7-SSA1-SA11,1,3 1. Page 3, line 3: after "board," insert "hosting or sponsorship of fund-raising events,".

SB7-SSA1-SA11,1,4 2. Page 30, line 18: after that line insert:

SB7-SSA1-SA11,1,5 " Section 71m. 11.395 of the statutes is created to read:

SB7-SSA1-SA11,1,6 11.395 Hosting or sponsorship of fund-raising events. (1) In this section:

SB7-SSA1-SA11,1,8 (a) "Agency" has the meaning given for "executive branch agency" under s. 16.70 (4).

SB7-SSA1-SA11,1,10 (b) "Fund-raising event" means an event at which contributions are solicited or accepted from attendees.

SB7-SSA1-SA11,1,11 (c) "Head" has the meaning given in s. 15.01 (8).

SB7-SSA1-SA11,2,2 (2) No person serving in a full-time position as head of an agency who is an appointee of the governor may serve as a host or sponsor of a fund-raising event.".
