AB113-AA3,1,1 At the locations indicated, amend the bill as follows:

AB113-AA3,1,2 1. Page 1, line 3: after "schools" insert "and making an appropriation".

AB113-AA3,1,3 2. Page 1, line 4: before that line insert:

AB113-AA3,1,4 " Section 1. 20.255 (2) (dr) of the statutes is created to read:

AB113-AA3,1,7 20.255 (2) (dr) Pledge of allegiance and national anthem notice. A sum sufficient to pay the costs incurred by school districts and private schools under s. 118.06 (4).".

AB113-AA3,1,8 3. Page 1, line 4: substitute "Section 1m" for "Section 1".

AB113-AA3,1,9 4. Page 2, line 12: after that line insert:

AB113-AA3,1,10 " Section 3m. 118.06 (4) of the statutes is created to read:

AB113-AA3,2,3 118.06 (4) Every school board, and the governing body of every private school to which the requirement of sub. (2) applies, annually shall notify the parent or guardian of each pupil enrolled in the school district or private school of the pupil's right to refuse to recite the pledge or sing the anthem. The state superintendent shall reimburse school districts and private schools for the costs of providing the notice under this subsection from the appropriation under s. 20.255 (2) (dr).".
