AB544-AA4,1,2 1. Page 3, line 2: after that line insert:

AB544-AA4,1,3 " Section 3x. Nonstatutory provisions.

AB544-AA4,1,8 (1) For the 1999-2000 and 2000-01 fiscal years, the department of corrections may request the joint committee of finance to supplement the department's budget under section 20.410 (1) (a) of the statutes for the purpose of staffing any leased correctional facility. Notwithstanding section 13.101 (3) (a) of the statutes, the joint committee on finance may approve any such request.".
