AB550-AA1,1,11 At the locations indicated, amend the bill as follows:
AB550-AA1,1,2 21. Page 3, line 23: delete lines 23 and 24 and substitute:
AB550-AA1,1,3 3"(3) A person who violates sub. (2) is guilty of a Class B felony.
AB550-AA1, s. 3g 4Section 3g. 941.39 (3) of the statutes, as created by 1999 Wisconsin Act .... (this
5act), is amended to read:
AB550-AA1,1,66 941.39 (3) A person who violates sub. (2) is guilty of a Class B C felony.".
AB550-AA1,1,7 72. Page 4, line 19: delete lines 19 and 20 and substitute:
AB550-AA1,1,8 8"(3) A person who violates sub. (2) is guilty of a Class B felony.
AB550-AA1, s. 4g 9Section 4g. 941.40 (3) of the statutes, as created by 1999 Wisconsin Act .... (this
10act), is amended to read:
AB550-AA1,1,1111 941.40 (3) A person who violates sub. (2) is guilty of a Class B C felony.".
AB550-AA1, s. 4m 12Section 4m. Nonstatutory provisions.

1(1q) Reconciliation provision. The amendment of sections 941.39 (3) and
2941.40 (3) of the statutes, as created by this act, and Section 6s (1g), (2h) and (3i) of
3this act are void unless the treatment of section 939.50 (3) (c) of the statutes by 1999
4Assembly Bill 465 is enacted into law before July 1, 2000, in exactly the same form
5as it appears in section 240 of 1999 Assembly Bill 465, as passed by the assembly.".

AB550-AA1,2,7 74. Page 4, line 24: after that line insert:
AB550-AA1,2,10 8"(1r) Transfer or use of syringe, needle or other device; reconciled
9provision.
The amendment of section 941.39 (3) of the statutes first applies to
10offenses committed on the effective date of this subsection.".
AB550-AA1,2,11 115. Page 5, line 1: delete "treatment" and substitute "creation".
AB550-AA1,2,12 126. Page 5, line 3: after that line insert:
AB550-AA1,2,15 13"(2r) Sexual intercourse or sexual contact; reconciled provision. The
14amendment of section 941.40 (3) of the statutes first applies to offenses committed
15on the effective date of this subsection.
AB550-AA1, s. 6s 16Section 6s. Effective dates. This act takes effect on the day after publication,
17except as follows:
AB550-AA1,2,21 18(1g) If 1999 Assembly Bill 465 has been enacted on or before the day after
19publication of this act and the day after publication of this act is on or before
20December 31, 1999, the amendment of sections 941.39 (3) and 941.40 (3) of the
21statutes and Section 5 (1r) and (2r) of this act take effect on December 31, 1999.
AB550-AA1,3,2 22(2h) If 1999 Assembly Bill 465 has been enacted on or before the day after
23publication of this act and the day after publication of this act is after December 31,

11999, the amendment of sections 941.39 (3) and 941.40 (3) and Section 5 (1r) and (2r)
2of this act take effect on the day after publication of this act.
AB550-AA1,3,7 3(3i) If 1999 Assembly Bill 465 is enacted after the day after publication of this
4act but before July 1, 2000, the amendment of sections 941.39 (3) and 941.40 (3) and
5Section 5 (1r) and (2r) of this act take effect on December 31, 1999, or on the date
6that the treatment of section 939.50 (3) (c) of the statutes by 1999 Assembly Bill 465
7takes effect, whichever is later.".
