ASSEMBLY AMENDMENT 1, TO 1999 ASSEMBLY BILL 726

AB726-AA1,1,1 At the locations indicated, amend the bill as follows:

AB726-AA1,1,3 1. Page 6, line 21: delete the material beginning with that line and ending with page 7, line 20, and substitute:

AB726-AA1,1,4 " Section 13d. 70.45 of the statutes is renumbered 70.45 (1).

AB726-AA1, s. 13e Section 13e. 70.45 (2) of the statutes is created to read:

AB726-AA1,1,13 70.45 (2) While the assessment roll is available for examination under sub. (1), and before the assessor signs the affidavit under s. 70.49, if the assessor and a property owner agree to an assessment change related to the property owner's property, the assessor shall write the assessment change in the assessment roll and provide a revised notice of the assessment change to the property owner. If the assessor has previously satisfied the requirements under s. 70.365 related to the property under this subsection, the assessor may send a revised notice under this subsection at any time before the meeting of the board of review.".
