ASSEMBLY SUBSTITUTE AMENDMENT 1, TO 2001 ASSEMBLY BILL 12

AB12-ASA1,1,2 An Act relating to: requiring the elections board to make recommendations regarding the issuance of voter identification cards to electors in this state.

The people of the state of Wisconsin, represented in senate and assembly, do enact as follows:

AB12-ASA1, s. 1 Section 1. Nonstatutory provisions.

AB12-ASA1,1,9 (1) The elections board shall prepare recommendations with regard to issuing voter identification cards to electors in this state. No later than the first day of the 7th month beginning after the effective date of this subsection, the elections board shall submit the recommendations to the chief clerk of each house of the legislature for distribution to the appropriate standing committees of the legislature in the manner provided under section 13.172 (3) of the statutes.
