SENATE AMENDMENT 2, TO SENATE SUBSTITUTE AMENDMENT 1, TO 2001 SENATE BILL 18

SB18-SSA1-SA2,1,1 At the locations indicated, amend the substitute amendment as follows:

SB18-SSA1-SA2,1,3 1. Page 1, line 1: before "funding" insert "a report on increasing access to dental care,".

SB18-SSA1-SA2,1,4 2. Page 1, line 3: delete that line and substitute:

SB18-SSA1-SA2,1,5 " Section 1m. Nonstatutory provisions.

SB18-SSA1-SA2,2,4 (1) Report on increasing access to dental care. The department of health and family services shall prepare a report on the ability of individuals who receive benefits and services under the medical assistance program under subchapter IV of chapter 49 of the statutes, or who are enrolled in the badger care health care program under section 49.665 of the statutes, to obtain access to dental services that are covered under the medical assistance program and the badger care health care program. The report shall include recommendations on increasing the access of these individuals to dental services. No later than 120 days after the effective date of this subsection, the department of health and family services shall submit the report to the governor, and to the legislature in the manner provided under section 13.172 (2) of the statutes.
