ASSEMBLY AMENDMENT 2, TO 2001 SENATE BILL 279

SB279-AA2,1,1 At the locations indicated, amend the bill as follows:

SB279-AA2,1,3 1. Page 1, line 2: after "staffs" insert "and eliminating general purpose revenue funding for the elections and ethics boards".

SB279-AA2,1,4 2. Page 2, line 20: after that line insert:

SB279-AA2,1,5 " Section 4m. Appropriation changes.

SB279-AA2,1,11 (1) Elections board. In the schedule under section 20.005 (3) of the statutes for the appropriation to the elections board under section 20.510 (1) (a) of the statutes, as affected by the acts of 2001, the dollar amount is decreased by $462,700 for fiscal year 2001-02 and the dollar amount is decreased by $929,200 for fiscal year 2002-03 to eliminate general purpose revenue funding for the board's general program operations.

SB279-AA2,2,4 (2) Ethics board. In the schedule under section 20.005 (3) of the statutes for the appropriation to the ethics board under section 20.521 (1) (a) of the statutes, as affected by the acts of 2001, the dollar amount is decreased by $123,600 for fiscal year 2001-02 and the dollar amount is decreased by $247,300 for fiscal year 2002-03 to eliminate general purpose revenue funding for the board's general program operations.".
