SENATE AMENDMENT 1, TO 2001 SENATE BILL 363

SB363-SA1,1,1 At the locations indicated, amend the bill as follows:

SB363-SA1,1,2 1. Page 36, line 22: delete that line and substitute:

SB363-SA1,1,4 "(cm) "Destructive device" means an overpressure device, or a device, other than a firearm, that contains".

SB363-SA1,1,6 2. Page 37, line 16: after "system" insert ", other than a firearm or a safety or signaling device,".

SB363-SA1,1,7 3. Page 38, line 2: after that line insert:

SB363-SA1,1,10 "(gm) "Firearm" means a handgun, as defined in s. 175.35 (1) (b), a machine gun, as defined in s. 941.27 (1) (a), a rifle, as defined in s. 941.28 (1) (a), or a shotgun, as defined in s. 941.28 (1) (d).".

SB363-SA1,1,11 4. Page 38, line 15: after that line insert:

SB363-SA1,2,2 "(Lm) "Safety or signaling device" means a starter pistol, flare gun, line-throwing gun, or other device that acts by force of an explosion to expel a safety tool or issue an audible or visible signal and that is used for signaling or safety purposes.".

SB363-SA1,2,3 5. Page 41, line 24: delete lines 24 and 25 and substitute:

SB363-SA1,2,6 "(cm) Ammunition that is intended for use in a firearm or in a safety or signaling device; or a component of ammunition that is intended for use in a firearm or in a safety or signaling device, including a primer used for reloading a shell.".
