SB37-SSA1-SA3,1,3 " Section 5m. 281.38 of the statutes is created to read:

SB37-SSA1-SA3,1,5 281.38 Water quality certification for large nonfederal wetlands. (1) Definitions. In this section:

SB37-SSA1-SA3,1,7 (a) "Large nonfederal wetland" means a nonfederal wetland that is a large nonfederal wetland, as defined by rule by the department.

SB37-SSA1-SA3,1,8 (b) "Nonfederal wetland" has the meaning given in s. 281.36 (1) (c).

SB37-SSA1-SA3,2,2 (2) Water quality standards. The department shall promulgate rules to set specific water quality standards for large nonfederal wetlands for the purpose of protecting the greater functional values performed by large nonfederal wetlands. The department shall use these water quality standards in reviewing applications for water quality certifications for large nonfederal wetlands issued under s. 281.36 (2).".
