ASSEMBLY AMENDMENT 1, TO 2003 ASSEMBLY BILL 405

AB405-AA1,1,1 At the locations indicated, amend the bill as follows:

AB405-AA1,1,2 1. Page 1, line 3: after "nurse" insert "or a home health agency nurse".

AB405-AA1,1,4 2. Page 2, line 4: delete that line and substitute "hospice nurse, or home health agency nurse.".

AB405-AA1,1,5 3. Page 2, line 4: after that line insert:

AB405-AA1,1,6 " Section 1m. 69.01 (12d) of the statutes is created to read:

AB405-AA1,1,7 69.01 (12d) "Home health agency" has the meaning given in s. 50.49 (1) (a).

AB405-AA1, s. 1n Section 1n. 69.01 (12e) of the statutes is created to read:

AB405-AA1,1,10 69.01 (12e) "Home health agency nurse" means a registered nurse, as defined in s. 146.40 (1) (f), who is employed by or under contract to a home health agency.".

AB405-AA1,1,13 4. Page 2, line 18: after "dies" insert "or a home health agency nurse of a home health agency that is directly involved with the care of a home health agency patient who dies".

AB405-AA1,2,1 5. Page 2, line 22: after "nurse" insert "or a home health agency nurse".

AB405-AA1,2,3 6. Page 3, line 1: delete "or hospice, as defined in s. 50.90 (1) (c)," and substitute "or hospice, as defined in s. 50.90 (1) (c), hospice, or home health agency".

AB405-AA1,2,5 7. Page 3, line 4: on lines 4 and 6, delete "or hospice" and substitute "or hospice, or home health agency".
