AB658-AA1,1,11 At the locations indicated, amend the bill as follows:
AB658-AA1,1,2 21. Page 5, line 14: delete "hires" and substitute "appoints".
AB658-AA1,1,3 32. Page 5, line 15: after "deputies" insert "under sub. (2)".
AB658-AA1,1,4 43. Page 6, line 3: after that line insert:
AB658-AA1,1,5 5" Section 7m. 61.65 (1) (a) (intro.) of the statutes is amended to read:
AB658-AA1,1,86 61.65 (1) (a) (intro.) Except as provided under s. 61.66, each village with a
7population of 5,000 or more shall, and each village with a population of under 5,000

provide police protection services by one of the following methods:".
AB658-AA1,2,2 94. Page 6, line 7: delete lines 7 to 10 and substitute "services in all parts of the
10village. If the village is located in more than one county, it may not abolish its police
11department under this subdivision unless the village enters into a contract under
12this subdivision with the county in which the greatest amount of the village's
