ASSEMBLY AMENDMENT 3, TO 2003 ASSEMBLY JOINT RESOLUTION 66

AJR66-AA3,1,1 At the locations indicated, amend the joint resolution as follows:

AJR66-AA3,1,3 1. Page 1, line 2: on lines 2 and 6, delete "man and one" and substitute "undivorced man and one undivorced".

AJR66-AA3,1,4 2. Page 1, line 4: after that line insert:

AJR66-AA3,1,5 " Section 1c. Section 31 (1) of article IV of the constitution is amended to read:

AJR66-AA3,1,7 [Article IV] Section 31 (1) For changing the names of persons , or constituting one person the heir at law of another or granting any divorce.".

AJR66-AA3,1,8 3. Page 1, line 5: delete " 1" and substitute "1m".

AJR66-AA3,1,9 4. Page 1, line 8: after "unmarried" insert "or divorced".

AJR66-AA3,1,11 5. Page 1, line 9: after "state." insert "Only the legislature, by law, may grant a divorce to married individuals.".
