ASSEMBLY AMENDMENT 5, TO 2003 SENATE BILL 272

SB272-AA5,1,1 At the locations indicated, amend the bill as follows:

SB272-AA5,1,3 1. Page 2, line 9: on page 1, line 9, of the material inserted by senate amendment 1, before that line insert:

SB272-AA5,1,5 ""(am) Paragraph (a) does not apply to a municipality that, on March 1, 2004, was providing cable service to the public.".

SB272-AA5,1,7 2. Page 2, line 9: on page 1, line 9, of the material inserted by senate amendment 1, delete ""(b)" and substitute "(b)".

SB272-AA5,1,9 3. Page 3, line 7: on page 1, line 8, of the material inserted by senate amendment 2, delete "sub. (3)" and substitute "subs. (3) and (3m)".

SB272-AA5,1,11 4. Page 3, line 23: after that line, on page 2 of the material inserted by senate amendment 2, after line 16 insert:

SB272-AA5,1,13 "(3m) Subsection (2) does not apply to a local government that, on March 1, 2004, was providing cable service to the public.".

SB272-AA5,2,4 5. Page 4, line 6: on page 3, line 9 of the material inserted by senate amendment 1, delete that line and substitute "telecommunications utilities. This subdivision does not apply to a local government telecommunications utility that is subject to the exemption under s. 66.0422 (3m).".
