ASSEMBLY AMENDMENT 6, TO 2003 SENATE BILL 272

SB272-AA6,1,1 At the locations indicated, amend the bill as follows:

SB272-AA6,1,3 1. Page 2, line 9: on page 1, line 9, of the material inserted by senate amendment 1, before that line insert:

SB272-AA6,1,6 ""(am) Paragraph (a) does not apply to a municipality that, before the effective date of this paragraph .... [revisor inserts date], has invested more than $100,000 in any facility for providing cable service directly or indirectly to the public.".

SB272-AA6,1,8 2. Page 2, line 9: on page 1, line 9, of the material inserted by senate amendment 1, delete ""(b)" and substitute "(b)".

SB272-AA6,1,10 3. Page 3, line 7: on page 1, line 8, of the material inserted by senate amendment 2, delete "sub. (3)" and substitute "subs. (3) and (3m)".

SB272-AA6,1,12 4. Page 3, line 23: after that line, on page 2 of the material inserted by senate amendment 2, after line 16 insert:

SB272-AA6,2,4 "(3m) Subsection (2) does not apply to a local government that, before the effective date of this subsection .... [revisor inserts date], has invested more than $100,000 in any facility for providing cable service, telecommunications service, or broadband service, directly or indirectly to the public.".

SB272-AA6,2,10 5. Page 4, line 6: on page 3, line 9 of the material inserted by senate amendment 1, delete that line and substitute "telecommunications utilities. This subdivision does not apply to a local government telecommunications utility that, before the effective date of this subdivision ....
