SENATE AMENDMENT 3, TO 2003 SENATE BILL 272

SB272-SA3,1,1 At the locations indicated, amend the bill as follows:

SB272-SA3,1,2 1. Page 2, line 2: before "Except" insert "(a)".

SB272-SA3,1,3 2. Page 2, line 7: delete "(a)" and substitute "1.".

SB272-SA3,1,4 3. Page 2, line 8: delete "(b)" and substitute "2.".

SB272-SA3,1,5 4. Page 2, line 9: after that line insert:

SB272-SA3,1,8 "(b) Paragraph (a) does not apply to a municipality that the public service commission has determined, before the effective date of this paragraph .... [revisor inserts date], is an alternative telecommunications utility under s. 196.203.".

SB272-SA3,1,10 5. Page 3, line 7: delete "No local government" and substitute "Except as provided in sub. (3), no local government".

SB272-SA3,1,11 6. Page 3, line 23: after that line insert:

SB272-SA3,2,3 "(3) Subsection (2) does not apply to a local government that the public service commission has determined, before the effective date of this subsection .... [revisor inserts date], is an alternative telecommunications utility under s. 196.203.".

SB272-SA3,2,7 7. Page 4, line 12: after " utility," insert "other than a local government telecommunications utility that the commission has determined, before the effective date of this paragraph .... [revisor inserts date], is an alternative telecommunications utility under s. 196.203,".
