(5s) Notwithstanding subs. (2), (5), and (5m), if any southeast Wisconsin
12freeway rehabilitation project involves adding one or more lanes or otherwise
1expanding capacity for vehicular traffic on an existing freeway in the city of
2Milwaukee, that portion of the project attributable to this lane addition or capacity
3expansion may be funded only from the appropriation under s. 20.395 (5) (iv).".

(6) (a)
Department to remit fees to municipalities and counties. 8Beginning Except as provided in par. (b), beginning July 1, 1984, and annually
9thereafter, the department shall remit those moneys collected under this section, less
10administrative costs under sub. (6m), to any municipality or county which has
11imposed a fee under this section. The department may by rule provide that the
12moneys be remitted at more frequent intervals if the department deems it advisable.

(6) (b) Subject to sub. (6m), if any southeast Wisconsin freeway
15rehabilitation project involves adding one or more lanes or otherwise expanding
16capacity for vehicular traffic on an existing freeway in the city of Milwaukee, all
17moneys collected by the department under this section from Waukesha County or
18any municipality in Waukesha County, less administrative costs under sub. (6m),
19shall first be expended by the department for the purpose specified in s. 84.014 (5s),
20and shall be remitted to Waukesha County or any municipality in Waukesha County
21only after all expenditure obligations specified in s. 84.014 (5s) have been met.".
