AB29-AA1,1,125 (1) Notwithstanding section 16.42 (1) (e) of the statutes, if this subsection takes
6effect in fiscal year 2006-07, in submitting information under section 16.42 of the
7statutes for purposes of the 2007-09 biennial budget bill, the department of
8transportation shall submit a dollar amount for the appropriation under section
920.395 (5) (cq) of the statutes that is $11,900 less than the total amount appropriated
10under section 20.395 (5) (cq) of the statutes for the 2006-07 fiscal year, before
11submitting any information relating to any increase or decrease in the dollar amount
12for that appropriation for the 2007-09 fiscal biennium.

1(1) In the schedule under section 20.005 (3) of the statutes for the appropriation
2to the department of transportation under section 20.395 (5) (cq) of the statutes, as
3affected by the acts of 2005, the dollar amount is increased by $11,900 for the fiscal
4year in which this subsection takes effect to provide funding for computer
5modification and data processing costs associated with the change in registration
6procedure for vehicles registered under section 341.26 (2) (k) of the statutes, as
7affected by this act.".
