SENATE AMENDMENT 1, TO SENATE SUBSTITUTE AMENDMENT 1, TO 2005 ASSEMBLY BILL 534

AB534-SSA1-SA1,1,1 At the locations indicated, amend the substitute amendment as follows:

AB534-SSA1-SA1,1,3 1. Page 3, line 1: after "fund," insert "and the amount due to a municipality under par. (c) 4m.".

AB534-SSA1-SA1,1,6 2. Page 3, line 24: delete "solicit interest in acquiring the parcel for public use" and substitute "offer the right of first purchase of the parcel to the county, municipality, local school district, or the department of natural resources".

AB534-SSA1-SA1,1,7 3. Page 4, line 6: delete "for public use".

AB534-SSA1-SA1,1,9 4. Page 4, line 7: delete the material beginning with "if all" and ending with "use." on line 14 and substitute ".".

AB534-SSA1-SA1,1,11 5. Page 5, line 6: delete the material beginning with "Ownership" and ending "use." on line 8.

AB534-SSA1-SA1,2,1 6. Page 5, line 8: after that line insert:

Notwithstanding subd. 2., if the department sells a land parcel under subd. 2. to a municipality that contributed funds for the purchase of the property when the property was acquired by the department, the department shall sell the property to the municipality for the market price less the percentage that the municipality contributed to the total price paid for the property by the department.

AB534-SSA1-SA1,2,11 4m. If the department sells a land parcel under subd. 2. to a local school district or the department of natural resources or at a public sale, the department shall pay any municipality that contributed funds for the purchase of the property when the property was acquired by the department a percentage of the sale price that is equal to the percentage that the municipality contributed to the purchase of the property.".
