AB602-AA1,1,11 At the locations indicated, amend the bill as follows:
AB602-AA1,1,3 21. Page 1, line 2: after "trespassing" insert "and creating civil immunity for the
3injury or death of an assessor or a member of an assessor's staff.".
AB602-AA1,1,4 42. Page 1, line 3: before that line insert:
AB602-AA1,1,5 5" Section 1g. 893.488 of the statutes is created to read:
AB602-AA1,1,7 6893.488 Civil liability exemption; owner or person in lawful possession
7of the premises.
(1) In this section:
AB602-AA1,1,88 (a) "Construction site" has the meaning given in s. 943.15 (2) (a).
AB602-AA1,1,109 (b) "Owner or person in lawful possession of the premises" has the meaning
10given in s. 943.15 (2) (b)
AB602-AA1,2,2 11(2) The owner or person in lawful possession of the premises and his or her
12employees are immune from civil liability for the injury or death of an assessor or a
13member of the staff of an assessor who enters onto a construction site without the

1permission of the owner or person in lawful possession of the premises or his or her
2employee to make an assessment on behalf of the state or a political subdivision.
AB602-AA1,2,5 3(3) The immunity under this section does not apply if the injury or death
4resulted from the reckless, wanton, or intentional misconduct of the owner or person
5in lawful possession of the premises or his or her employee.".
AB602-AA1,2,6 63. Page 1, line 3: delete " Section 1" and substitute "Section 1m".
