ASSEMBLY AMENDMENT 1, TO 2005 ASSEMBLY BILL 888

AB888-AA1,1,1 At the locations indicated, amend the bill as follows:

AB888-AA1,1,2 1. Page 1, line 2: delete "and boards" and substitute ", boards".

AB888-AA1,1,4 2. Page 1, line 3: delete "commissioners" and substitute ", commissioners, and registers of deeds".

AB888-AA1,1,7 3. Page 2, line 10: delete the material beginning with "clerk," and ending with "deeds" on line 11 and substitute "clerk, at the office of any register of deeds at the office of the county clerk".

AB888-AA1,1,8 4. Page 2, line 21: after that line insert:

AB888-AA1,1,9 " Section 1m. 6.28 (3) of the statutes is repealed.".

AB888-AA1,2,2 5. Page 3, line 23: delete the material beginning with "Each" and ending with "(3)." on page 4, line 1, and substitute "Each register of deeds shall obtain sufficient registration forms at the expense of the unit of government by which he or she is employed for completion by any elector who desires to register to vote at the office of the register of deeds under s. 6.28 (3).".
