SB443-SSA1,1,2 1An Act to amend 753.06 (4) (a) of the statutes; relating to: adding a circuit court

As of August 1, 2007, this bill adds one circuit court branch in Calumet County.

The people of the state of Wisconsin, represented in senate and assembly, do
enact as follows:
SB443-SSA1, s. 1 3Section 1. 753.06 (4) (a) of the statutes is amended to read:
SB443-SSA1,1,54 753.06 (4) (a) Calumet County. The circuit has one branch. Commencing
5August 1, 2007, the circuit has 2 branches.
SB443-SSA1, s. 2 6Section 2. Nonstatutory provisions.
SB443-SSA1,2,3
1(1) The initial election for circuit judge for branch 2 of the circuit court for
2Calumet County shall be at the spring election of 2007 for terms commencing August
31, 2007, and ending July 31, 2013.
SB443-SSA1,2,74 (2) The authorized FTE positions for the circuit courts are increased by 1.0 GPR
5circuit judge position on August 1, 2007, to be funded from the appropriation under
6section 20.625 (1) (a) of the statutes, to provide an additional circuit court judge for
7the circuit court branch created by this act.
SB443-SSA1,2,118 (3) The authorized FTE positions for the circuit courts are increased by 1.0 GPR
9court reporter position on August 1, 2007, to be funded from the appropriation under
10section 20.625 (1) (a) of the statutes, to provide one court reporter for the circuit court
11branch created by this act.
