SENATE AMENDMENT 1, TO SENATE BILL 2

October 15, 2007 - Offered by Senator Decker.

SB2-SA1,1,1 At the locations indicated, amend the bill as follows:

SB2-SA1,1,2 1. Page 112, line 16: after that line insert:

SB2-SA1,1,3 " Section 9241. Fiscal changes; Revenue.

SB2-SA1,1,9 (1) Oil company assessment. In the schedule under section 20.005 (3) of the statutes for the appropriation to the department of revenue under section 20.566 (1) (u) of the statutes, as affected by the acts of 2007, the dollar amount is increased by $100,900 for fiscal year 2007-08 and the dollar amount is increased by $187,300 for fiscal year 2008-09 to increase the authorized FTE positions for the department of revenue by 3.0 SEG auditor positions for the oil company assessment.".

SB2-SA1,1,11 2. Page 112, line 21: delete lines 21 and 22 and substitute "motor vehicle fuel on January 1, 2008.".

SB2-SA1,1,12 3. Page 113, line 21: delete "Section" and substitute "Sections 9441 and".

SB2-SA1,2,4 (1c) Oil company assessment. The treatment of section 25.40 (1) (bd), subchapter XIV of chapter 77, and chapter 77 (title) of the statutes takes effect on January 1, 2008.".
