ASSEMBLY AMENDMENT 1, TO ASSEMBLY SUBSTITUTE AMENDMENT 1, TO 2007 ASSEMBLY BILL 72

AB72-ASA1-AA1,1,1 At the locations indicated, amend the substitute amendment as follows:

AB72-ASA1-AA1,1,3 1. Page 1, line 8: after "service," insert "the collection and disposal of prescription drugs,".

AB72-ASA1-AA1,1,4 2. Page 2, line 24: after that line insert:

AB72-ASA1-AA1,1,6 " Section 1r. 20.005 (3) (schedule) of the statutes: at the appropriate place, insert the following amounts for the purposes indicated: - See PDF for table

AB72-ASA1-AA1, s. 1t Section 1t. 20.370 (2) (es) of the statutes is created to read:

AB72-ASA1-AA1,2,3 20.370 (2) (es) Solid waste management — prescription drug collection. From the recycling fund, as a continuing appropriation, the amounts in the schedule for the collection and disposal of prescription drugs under s. 299.41.".

AB72-ASA1-AA1,2,4 3. Page 3, line 21: after that line insert:

AB72-ASA1-AA1,2,5 " Section 4m. 299.41 of the statutes is created to read:

AB72-ASA1-AA1,2,8 299.41 Prescription drug collection and disposal. The department shall expend funds appropriated under s. 20.370 (2) (es) for the collection and proper disposal of unused prescription drugs.".

AB72-ASA1-AA1,2,9 4. Page 10, line 6: delete "$1,500,000" and substitute "$500,000".

AB72-ASA1-AA1,2,10 5. Page 11, line 15: after that line insert:

AB72-ASA1-AA1,2,12 " Section 9400. Effective dates. This act takes effect on the day after publication, except as follows:

AB72-ASA1-AA1,2,15 (1) Prescription drug collection. The treatment of sections 20.005 (3) (schedule), 20.370 (2) (es) and 299.41 of the statutes takes effect on July 1, 2007, or on the day after publication of the biennial budget act, whichever is later.".
