ASSEMBLY AMENDMENT 5, TO 2009 SENATE BILL 331

SB331-AA5,1,1 At the locations indicated, amend the bill as follows:

SB331-AA5,1,4 1. Page 2, line 2: on page 1, line 9, of the material inserted by senate amendment 1 to senate amendment 3, after "Shares;" insert "increasing the amount of funding to counties and tribal governing bodies for fraud prevention;".

SB331-AA5,1,6 2. Page 23, line 23: after that line after the material inserted by senate amendment 3, insert:

SB331-AA5,1,7 " Section 39t. Fiscal changes.

SB331-AA5,2,2 (1) Funding for fraud prevention. In the schedule under section 20.005 (3) of the statutes for the appropriation to the department of children and families under section 20.437 (2) (dz) of the statutes, as affected by the acts of 2009, the dollar amount is increased by $1,250,000 for fiscal year 2009-10 and the dollar amount is increased by $1,250,000 for fiscal year 2010-11 to increase funding for counties, excluding a county having a population of 500,000 or more, and for tribal governing bodies for fraud detection and prevention under the Wisconsin Works program.".

SB331-AA5,2,4 3. Page 24, line 1: on page 9, line 17, of the material inserted by senate amendment 3, after "statutes" insert "and Section 39t of this act".

SB331-AA5,2,6 4. Page 24, line 13: after that line after the material inserted by senate amendment 3, insert:

SB331-AA5,2,8 "(2w) Funding for fraud prevention. Section 39t of this act takes effect on the day after publication.".
