SENATE AMENDMENT 2, TO 2009 SENATE BILL 591

SB591-SA2,1,1 At the locations indicated, amend the bill as follows:

SB591-SA2,1,4 1. Page 2, line 1: delete "Except as" and substitute "In this section, "rental period" means the time interval in which rent is periodically payable under a rental agreement.".

SB591-SA2,1,5 2. Page 2, line 2: before "provided" insert:

SB591-SA2,1,6 "(am) Except as".

SB591-SA2,1,9 3. Page 2, line 4: delete the material beginning with "landlord" and ending with "death" on line 5 and substitute "first day of the rental period in which the tenant's death occurs".
