ASSEMBLY AMENDMENT 4, TO 2011 ASSEMBLY BILL 2

AB2-AA4,1,1 At the locations indicated, amend the bill as follows:

AB2-AA4,1,4 1. Page 1, line 3: delete the material beginning with "zones" and ending with "areas" on line 4 and substitute "zones, requiring the designation of enterprise zones in rural areas, and transferring administration of the enterprise zone program".

AB2-AA4,1,5 2. Page 2, line 13: after that line insert:

AB2-AA4,1,6 " Section 4m. Nonstatutory provisions.

AB2-AA4,1,12 (1) Notwithstanding section 560.799 of the statutes, as affected by this act, the department of commerce shall transfer administration of the enterprise zone program under section 560.799 of the statutes, as affected by this act, to the Wisconsin Economic Development Corporation, during the period beginning on the effective date of this subsection and ending on July 1, 2011, or the date on which the biennial budget bill takes effect, whichever is later.".
