ASSEMBLY AMENDMENT 3, TO 2011 ASSEMBLY BILL 24

AB24-AA3,1,1 At the locations indicated, amend the bill as follows:

AB24-AA3,1,2 1. Page 2, line 5: delete lines 5 to 9 and substitute:

AB24-AA3,1,4 "29.184 (3) (br) 4. Shoot to kill a bear that was shot and wounded but not killed by a Class A bear license holder in the same hunting party if all of the following apply:

AB24-AA3,1,5 a. The Class B bear license holder is at least 16 years old.

AB24-AA3,1,7 b. The Class B bear license holder has been issued a certificate of accomplishment under s. 29.591 or was born before January 1, 1973.

AB24-AA3,1,9 c. The Class A bear license holder possesses a carcass tag that is authorized for use on the bear.

AB24-AA3,1,11 d. The Class A bear license holder authorizes the Class B bear license holder to shoot and kill the bear.

AB24-AA3,1,13 e. Killing the bear is necessary to protect the safety of the members of the hunting party or others.".

AB24-AA3,2,1 2. Page 3, line 7: delete " 3. 4." and substitute "3.".
