ASSEMBLY AMENDMENT 1, TO 2011 ASSEMBLY BILL 35

AB35-AA1,1,1 At the locations indicated, amend the bill as follows:

AB35-AA1,1,2 1. Page 1, line 3: before that line insert:

AB35-AA1,1,3 " Section 1b. 29.403 (1) of the statutes is renumbered 29.403 (1g).

AB35-AA1,1,4 " Section 1g. 29.403 (1b) of the statutes is created to read:

AB35-AA1,1,6 29.403 (1b) In this section, "live well" means a container designed to hold, and capable of holding, live fish on a boat.".

AB35-AA1,1,7 2. Page 1, line 3: substitute "Section 1k" for "Section 1".

AB35-AA1,1,10 3. Page 2, line 1: after "bass." insert "Any participant in a bass fishing tournament shall ensure that the boat from which he or she is fishing has a functioning live well.".

AB35-AA1,1,11 4. Page 2, line 5: after that line insert:

AB35-AA1,1,12 " Section 1r. 29.403 (2) of the statutes is amended to read:

AB35-AA1,2,5 29.403 (2) The department may require a permit under the program to conduct a fishing tournament and may impose terms and conditions that apply to a specific permit. The department may issue a specific permit under terms and conditions that vary from the requirements of the rules promulgated by the department under sub. (1) (1g).

AB35-AA1, s. 1t Section 1t. 29.403 (3) (intro.) of the statutes is amended to read:

AB35-AA1,2,8 29.403 (3) (intro.) The rules promulgated by the department under sub. (1) (1g) may include any of the following:".

AB35-AA1,2,9 5. Page 2, line 7: substitute "(1) (1g)" for "(1)".
