ASSEMBLY AMENDMENT 2, TO 2011 ASSEMBLY BILL 424

AB424-AA2,1,1 At the locations indicated, amend the bill as follows:

AB424-AA2,1,4 1. Page 1, line 3: delete that line and substitute "to or threatening a court employee or public sector employee or threatening damage to a courthouse or the capitol and".

AB424-AA2,1,6 2. Page 2, line 2: delete " or court employee" and substitute ", court employee, or public sector employee".

AB424-AA2,1,7 3. Page 2, line 13: after that line insert:

AB424-AA2,1,8 " Section 3k. 940.203 (1) (c) of the statutes is created to read:

AB424-AA2,1,9 940.203 (1) (c) "Public sector employee" means any of the following:

AB424-AA2,1,10 1. An individual who is employed as legislative staff.

AB424-AA2,1,11 2. An individual who is employed as the governor's staff.

AB424-AA2,1,12 3. An individual who works regularly in the capitol.".

AB424-AA2,2,2 4. Page 2, line 16: on lines 16 and 19, after "court employee" insert "or a public sector employee".

AB424-AA2,2,3 5. Page 2, line 20: after "court employee" insert "or the public sector employee".

AB424-AA2,2,4 6. Page 3, line 1: after "court employee" insert "or the public sector employee".

AB424-AA2,2,5 7. Page 3, line 3: after " (4)" insert "(a)".

AB424-AA2,2,6 8. Page 3, line 5: after that line insert:

AB424-AA2,2,8 "(b) Whoever threatens to cause damage to the capitol, if the threatened action could cause bodily harm to a public sector employee, is guilty of a Class I felony.".
